Snow in the South February 23, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Christine @ 1:08 am

We recently enjoyed several inches of snow in Wilmington! I didn’t think we’d get any since last winter was the 1st snow they’d had here in years. It was a pleasant surprise. The snow started while we were out to dinner with our friend Andy, who was visiting briefly from Northern Virginia. I’m sure he was super excited to see snow in the South too. We just wanted to make him feel right at home, ya know, the whole southern hospitality thing. You’re welcome Andy.

The next day we put Elly in her wagon and Otis on his leash and walked to the park, or in Jamie and Elly’s case, got pulled to the park.  We all loved playing outside in the winter wonderland. Hopefully the snow was the last of our really cold weather seeing as I can barely snap Elly’s winter coat over that belly of hers!
