MLK Jr. Day January 20, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — Christine @ 6:43 pm

We celebrated MLK Jr. Day by going to a parade downtown. It was a gorgeous day so we also ate our lunch outside while we watched the parade. Elly danced to the music of the marching bands but was not a fan of the sirens on the firetrucks/police vehicles in the parade.

We share Dr. King’s dreams of peace, equality, and acceptance. We try to keep those dreams in mind as we live life from day to day in order to help make the world a better place for everyone, especially our little Elly.
